Who am i?! Why am i here?!...Who are you?!

Hello folks my name is Dustin Pinion. Im from Indianola, MS and currently a Senior at Mississippi State University majoring in Horticulture. I created this blog to follow my planning and attempt of a thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. For people that are new to this the Appalachian trail is a trail that runs from Georgia to Maine, 14 states, 2168 miles.... WOW! scary just thinking about it, but just like anything else, just take it one step at a time i guess. 3000 people start every year and only about 300 finish, and hopefully I will be part of the 2000 miler club. I been spending the last year and a half planning for this hike that will take me 5 to 6 months to complete. With the planning I have done this last year and the support from my family and friends I hope I can accomplish my dream of doing this thru-hike.
